As promised, here are pictures from our wonderful trip home last week. I will warn you: There are a lot of pictures! If you're in a hurry right now, you might want to check back when you have more time! Enjoy...
The first part of our trip was in Fairbank, at Ryan's parents house. We enjoyed a visit from family friends, the Tagtow's. Nat was the best man in our wedding, and his parents are good friends with Maury and Diane. Jack had a lot of fun playing with them.

Rick "picking Jack up by his ears..."

The next day was THANKSGIVING! We enjoyed a delicious meal with family. Here is Maury carving up some yummy turkey!

After lunch, it was time for Jack's birthday party with Ryan's side of the family! He got lots of nice presents!

Jack's birthday cake was made special by his Aunt Jill. Isn't it cute? She did a great job.

Jack's first John Deer tractor! Given to him by his Great Uncle Joe, and cousins Jaron and Janae.

After presents, it was cake time!

Mmmmm

Who knew turning 1 was so much fun?

Play time with my Great Grandma Rosien
Help blowing out the candles from Daddy and Aunt Hilary. (Which by the way, Jack said "Hilary" 3 times while we were home! )

Jack was exhausted after his long day, so he cuddled up and fell asleep on his Great Aunt Sonya.

After all the Thanksgiving festivities, we headed back to Norwalk to spend some time with my family, and have yet another birthday party for Jack. It was great to see so many family members.
Jack lovin' on his Auntie Morgan. (And Doug)

This is what Ryan and Jameson did for most of the day...

However, they did manage some time for a little yard work!

Birthday Party: Round 2!
This cake was made by the secretary at the school where I work...yep, thats right, it came all the way to Norwalk from Wichita! I was nervous that it wouldn't make it, but it held up perfectly! The monkey is an exact replica of Jack's sock monkey, and doubled as his "smash cake."

Close up of sock monkey.

Eli was a great help when it came to opening presents! He held up everything Jack got so everyone could see it (there were about 25 people there...) It was really cute.

Jack helped tear the paper on a few gifts, but as you might've guessed, REALLY loved the ribbons!

Lots of new clothes, toys, and books!
