Wednesday marked our 3rd round of synagis shots for Lia. She get's these once a month to protect her from RSV since she is considered high risk. Lot's of heart kids get the shots through the winter, especially those in their first year of life. She has two months of shots left to go, until RSV season "ends" in March. Can you believe in two short months, she'll be a year old? Wow, that went fast!
Christy, (or "Crispy" as Jack says) our wonderful home healthcare nurse comes to give them to her so we don't have to take her out. Lia knows exactly what it means when Christy shows up, and is immediately leary of her. When Christy weighs her, she bawls (weighed in at 17.1 lbs. yesterday...). When Christy listens to her heart, she bawls. When Christy checks her temp., she bawls. Poor Christy. The older Lia gets, I'm sure it's just going to get worse too. Even through all that though, Christy is so sweet and we really like her!

| Grandma Sue was home yesterday, so she and Christy gave the shots at the same time to she doesn't have to go through more pain. Daddy is an excellent leg holder. |
