Well, another Christmas has come and gone! Wow, my kids are SPOILED!! Between our two families, we had 6 Christmases! By the last one, Jack was saying "I don't want to open anymore! I've gotten enough!" I told him he wasn't normal, but he insists that he is.
I'm attaching pictures of Christmases with my side of the family, and as I gather more photos from my mother-in-law and sister-in-law, I will add more from our time with Ryan's side of the family!
This was a rough week for us, as Lia got ear infection and the flu, and then Jack, Ryan, and my Dad all followed suit with the flu as well. My mom and I are the only ones who haven't come down with it yet (knock on wood!!) We enjoyed some time away at the mall today to get away from all the "sickies".
Lia and Jack both had their well-child check-ups this week. Lia is weighing in at 17.1 lbs (30th percentile), and Jack is weighing in at 34 lbs (70th percentile). Other than Lia's ear infection, and this bout of flu, they are both healthy and doing great! We had to cancel our cardiology appointment because of Lia being sick on that day, and they couldn't reschedule it until next month :( By the time we get there at the end of January, it will have been 4 months since her last cardio appointment.
Enjoy the pictures and check back soon for more from our time in Fairbank with Ryan's family.

| Jack's first memorable snow experience! He had a BLAST! He and Ryan played outside for a long time. They built a really cool fort. |
| As you can imagine, Lia was mostly interested in paper and boxes and bows this year. |
| Grandpa B. and Mom |
| As most of you know, I'm way into 'heart decor' and I got this from my uncle. It says 'Your Life Has Endless Possibilities' with a heart and a cross on it. LOVE IT. |
| Jack got the coolest fort-maker, and the girls had a lot of fun in it too! This pic was taken inside one of the many forts that Jack and Daddy made. |
| This was about the best pic we could get of all three of them! Seriously....there were like 15 to choose from, and this was it! |
| New chairs from Grandma Sue and Grandpa Jeff! I wonder if you love Pottery Barn as much as my mom does?! |
| Brynn got really comfortable in hers! |
| Sisters! Sportin' our new gloves, scarves and coats! |
| The whole Rosien clan together. All 21 of us. This was taken after the Christmas Eve service at church. Who knows the next time we'll all be together, so this will be a memorable photo! |
| My Grandparents. Love them! |
| First Christmas as a family of 4! Soooo grateful for all that God has given me! Even grateful for my 3 year old who hates pictures. |
| Christmas Eve wore Lia out...snoozin' on Grandpa Jeff |

| If you've been to the Des Moines Farmer's Market, you've seen the 'Old Parts, New Hearts' lady! And I got one!! We special ordered this back in September. Notice how my heart has a crack in it? I don't have a pic of the back, but it's been "mended" with antique brackets. Very personalized and meaningful to me. The handle is an antique dresser drawer handle, and the J&L stencils are antique as well. I can't wait to hang this on my wall! |
