We are so excited to announce that Jack is going to be a big brother! We are expecting our 2nd child in late March/early April. We found out in July that we were expecting, but wanted to keep it a secret until we were finished with the first trimester.
Speaking of first trimester, my second go-round at this whole pregnancy thing has been much like the first: nausea, nausea, nausea! I started my nausea meds about 6 weeks in, and have been taking them faithfully since. Thank goodness for those, and thank goodness for a good class of first graders, and an amazing supportive husband!
Jack is as excited as he can be to become a big brother. When we say "wheres the baby?" He points to his stomach, not mine. I'm sure as more time goes on he'll get it. When we say "are you excited to be a big brother?" He says "yesssss". The first time we asked him if he wanted a little brother or little sister, he said "Dora" so we still need to work on that one.
