Unless you're an elementary teacher, you probably wouldn't know that yesterday was Dr. Seuss' birthday! We spent all day at school celebrating Dr. Seuss. We even made green eggs and ham! Mmmmm. Some students loved it...others were completely grossed out by it, but it was still fun!
Mmmmm Green Eggs and Ham!

Mmmmm Green Eggs and Ham!
"Are you sure this is ok to eat, Mrs. Shields?"

"Can we do this everyday?"

We also had our good friend 'Bruno' stay with us last night. He was passing through Wichita for his work. It was his first time meeting Jack. We had a nice time catching up.

-Ryan and I joined the Y last week and have really enjoyed it so far! We are looking forward to getting Jack into swim lessons this summer.
-The countdown to spring break is on! We are excited to go home for our good friends, Brooke and Zach's bachelor/bachelorette parties! Ryan and I are both in their wedding in April.
-Jack's newest word: "Coco" which is the name of our sitters dog.
-Jack's new obsession: Having the window down while we're in the car. Luckilly the weather has been nice!
-We are finalizing plans for a trip to Vegas in June to see Spencer while he is on leave from Afghanistan!
I think that pretty much sums things up for us!
