There isn't really a whole lot to report on from Wichita. It's really cold. It's January. And that sums things up! Here's a little bit about what the three of us have been up to:
Jack: Still working on walking! He loves to push this toy around. Since our house makes a complete circle he does laps and laps and laps. He will take about 8 steps on his own, but usually only when someone is reaching out for him. I know its going to be any day when he get up and just takes off.

This is a cute penguin Jack made at daycare! Awww...

Last week we had two "wind chill" days off from school. I seized the opportunity to give Jack a haircut. He was such a good boy and sat really well. Excuse the pajamas....

I have been trying really hard to get some weight off (notice my new conter on the side bar?) And have been trying lots of new recipes. This is a pic of a Greek Lima Bean Salad I made. I got the recipe from my friend, Erica, and it is DELICIOUS, and the best part, is that it's healthy and FILLING!

Ryan: Ryan is up to the same old. Lately he's been the expert "jewelry fixer". Jack loves to pull on my necklaces, and if he finds one that he can get ahold of, Ryan usually ends up having to fix it! Good thing hes so handy!

If we are both home together at night, you can find us playing this game: Quiddler. Its a fun new card game that my grandma and grandpa got us for Christmas. We enjoy playing games like this, usually accompanied with a glass of wine :)

Ashley: Not a whole lot to report on me either. It was wonderful having 2 snow days last week, plus, no school on Monday for MLK Jr. Day, and an inservice on Tuesday. However, the last part of the week is P/T conferences! That means lots of extra hours at work. Grrrr. Oh well, last conferences for the year!
As you have read in earlier posts, I have been more and more interested in antiques: This is a picture of a really cool antique kettle pot and some anqitue wooden apples that is now sitting on our kitchen table! I found these at the antique shop in Norwalk back home.

Also, my friend, Heather, introduced me to this blog: http://fitbottomedgirls.com/ Check it out! Lots of good advice on there.
I am looking forward to the last weekend in January with a trip home for a girls night with a bunch of my girlfriends. Very much needed!!!
Hope all is well!
