Wow! What a spring break! Ryan and I spent an entire week traveling around the state of Iowa visiting friends and family and then ending the week with the wedding of our good friends, Nate and Kim! I am attaching pictures from each of our stops. Re-tracing our steps! Enjoy!
FIRST STOP: Norwalk, IA/DesMoines, IA

While staying at my parents in Norwalk, we enjoyed dinner with my grandparents and my uncle Dan. We played marbles (don't judge until you've tried. It's actually quite fun). We also got to spend time with my sis and soon to be brother-in-law.
Next Stop: Washington, IA

Next Stop: Coralville, IA
While in Coralville, we got to see Ryans sisters Sarah and Jill, and spend some time with Ryan's nephew's, Zach and Noah. They love to play with Uncle Ryan! It was a nice day, so they played some football and jumped on the trampoline!

Continuing On: North Liberty, IA

While in North Liberty, we stayed with our good friends, Brooke and Zach. It was St. Patricks Day while we were there, so we all put on some "green" and enjoyed a nice dinner together! We also met up with some friends of mine that I went to high school with. It was good to see everyone!

While in Washington, we had lunch with my grandparents, and got to see my cousin Trey, who was spending a few days with them. It was the first time Ryan and I had seen their new house!

Next Stop: Fairbank, IA

Next on our journey, we we spent a few days with Ryans parents in Fairbank, where we got in on some of the NCAA tournament action, and got to see the UNI Panthers play! This was the first time I had ever filled out a bracket. Ryan and I are going against each other, and the winner gets a new pair of shoes!
Unfortunately, the outcome wasn't so good for the Panthers, but they played a great game!
Update: Ryan is kicking my butt on the bracket. Stay tuned for further updates as the tournament progresses! I feel a comeback coming on.
Next Stop: Cedar Falls, IA

While in Cedar Falls, we caught up with good friends Eric and Lindsey! It was nice returning to our old "stomping grounds...."
Next AND FINAL Stop: Mason City, IA/ Fertile, IA

The last stop on our spring break journey was in Mason City, where Ryan ushered in a friends wedding. My friend Brooke only lives about 45 min. from Mason City, so she came and had lunch with me on Saturday while Ryan was busy with wedding pictures! It was great to see her!

Here we are with the lovely bride and groom. In case you hadn't already noticed, she is 6'1" and he is 5'6"! They are an amazing couple and we couldn't be happier for them! Their wedding was in a tiny town called Fertile, IA (probably my first and LAST time ever being there) and the reception was in Mason City.

As I am writing this blog, Ryan is already asleep on the couch. We are both VERY tired from our long drive home today and neither of us is looking forward to Monday morning! It will be here before we know it! Even though we are tired, it was well worth it! We had such a good time!
