Lia's cardiologist and ENT appointment last week went really well! The hemangioma's on her face and throat have not grown! Some of them are even getting smaller! We will keep her on the propranolol for as long as needed to help keep them under control. Her cardiologist said her EKG was perfect, her left diaphragm has moved down some, shes gaining weight and thriving, and her incision continues to heal more and more each week! At next month's appointment, they will do another echo to see how things are going on the inside after her full repair was done in April.
We are leaving for Wichita tomorrow to pack our things....yep, we're moving home! I was offered a job with the SE Polk school district to teach K-3 Special Ed. I am so thankful for this job opportunity! I'm nervous to start in a new school, and new position, but so glad that we will be close to our family and friends here in Iowa. It will be very hard to leave Wichita, as it has been our home for the past 5 years, but know that all the friends and memories we've made there will never be forgotten! Some plans are already in the works to meet in the middle (KC) with some of my girlfriends this fall!
Keep the prayers coming, as we move, start new jobs, continue with Lia's healthcare, and make a new life for ourselves here in Iowa.
